Fort Lauderdale · South Florida · Worldwide
LAT26 Crew connects world-class maritime professionals with premier vessels from the yachting capital of the world. Curated. Personal. Precise.
Latitude 26° North runs directly through Fort Lauderdale, Florida — the undisputed yachting capital of the world. It's where the industry gathers, where vessels stage for ocean crossings, and where careers in professional yachting are built.
LAT26 Crew was founded here, by people who know this world intimately. We are a boutique placement agency — not a job board, not a volume operation. We take the time to understand every vessel, every owner's expectations, and every crew member's ambitions before making a single introduction.
From South Florida to the Pacific, we place crew on superyachts, expedition vessels, and private motor yachts with the care and discretion that serious yachting demands.
What We Do
Permanent and rotational placement across all departments — deck, engineering, interior, and culinary. We maintain a curated roster of vetted, certificated professionals ready for immediate deployment.
Last-minute departures happen. Our South Florida network means we can source qualified, experienced relief crew at short notice — without compromising on standards.
Senior appointments require a different approach. We conduct discreet, comprehensive searches for Masters and Heads of Department, presenting only candidates who genuinely fit your vessel and programme.
Organisational structure, rotational scheduling, salary benchmarking, and crew handbook development. We help owners and managers build crew teams that work — and stay.
STCW certification checks, flag state endorsements, MCA compliance, and background screening. Every candidate we present has been thoroughly verified before you see their profile.
Working alongside yacht managers and captains to handle the crew side of operations — contracts, payroll structure, onboarding coordination, and ongoing placement support.
The Process
We learn your vessel, your programme, your culture, and what a successful placement looks like for you. No assumptions.
We draw from our verified roster and active network to present a focused shortlist — typically two to four candidates — matched with precision.
We facilitate the process from first interview through sea trial, handling all logistics, references, and document verification.
A placement isn't complete at signing. We follow up with both vessel and crew in the first 30 and 90 days to ensure the fit holds.

The Difference
We operate from the heart of the global yachting industry. Our network is built over years of working on and around the vessels that call South Florida home.
We deliberately limit our volume so that every client — vessel and crew alike — receives our genuine attention. You are never a number here.
Our team has operational yachting experience. We understand ISM, MLC, flag state requirements, and the realities of life aboard — because we've lived them.
